Efficacy is a constraint, not the whole experience

A higher lm/W value can reduce connected load, yet an optical package optimized only for efficacy may not deliver the cut-off, color quality or distribution a space needs. A credible specification records why visual comfort or material appearance changes the energy calculation—and tests the consequence rather than hiding it behind a generic efficiency claim.
